Its a fact that we all are born Atheist & its by our chance of birth that we become... hindu, muslim, ...or wateva. And in my part of the world religion is of utmost importance. Religion was meant to unite people but instead it is used to divide them. A very common practise is, to raise one's child to be religious minded & make them think that it is a way of life, that it teaches you to how to lead your life. I respect the sentiments that induces this choice....
But do you really need a religion to explain you that killing, stealing, hurting others is bad & that helping the needful, service towards humanity is good, aren’t all these things quiet evident.
All I want & ask is to be in a state of open-minded religion & have a rational approach where you are asking questions, seeking answers & fairly evaluating the data (holy books, mythological writings) without prejudice.
And if you do that, you are at the risk of finding yourself having a stance against most of the monotheistic beliefs (hinduism, islam, christianity).
But you find yourself in a whole new world of truth & rationality, where nothing is supernatural.
And you are not doing anything diffrent but now you are open to accepting different avenues in the traditionally small horizon of "religion".
(contents of this blog does not intend to hurt any person's religious sentiments)
