hey der...
exams r cuming up... n the week bfore that is like the most frustrating time f the year.
U wake up in the morning n pledge 2 study seriously today... & for that u just roam around ur house carrying notes in ur hand (2 "STUDY")... but really studyin nutin, its when even... boring movies seems interesting, n u feel hungry like every 2 hrs, u r suddenly interested in knowing wats goin on wit ur aunt & uncle, n ya... u dun miss out on ur neighbours, n u are so eager to do every work ur mom gives u... & surprisingly reading newspaper seems sooooooo... much interesting.
And thn u realise... that while u wer Busy acting... ur day jus gt over. (DAMN!!! u say 2 urself)
Another day wasted... & thn u curse urself for wasting the day... n how u shld hav utilised ur day, studied hard, become serious.... n all tht stuff.
& then u take another pledge in d nite...that tomorrow will b different... n u will cover up for today's loss. BUT.... then again... u remember somethin... u feel same thngs r happenin with u again n again... n when u figure out wat it is... U Realize that this was the same thng u told urself last nite!!!! (DAMN!!! u say to urself again)
U dun knw wat comes next... U r nt xcatly proud of these thngs.
But then... there is a sincere intention of living up to ur pledge. & thats a GOOD thing.
Alright... sme f the things r a bit exaggerated... bt thn again they r nt far away frm truth.
N before goin 2 hit the bed... U PRAY 2 ALL THE POWERS OF THE UNIVERSE TO HELP U IN UR CONQUEST. (as if its really a Conquest)

Rock On!!! the music
hey der...
Writing about music and movies are the best way return to ur blog... Talking about music,
recently i bought a mp3 of recent bollywood movies... nd while goin thru the music of all the movies... one movie that clearly stood out was the music of ROCK ON.
In the age where hindi music seems to b obsessed with words like Janiye, Soniye, Mahiya, and cant do without having some english lines put in like 'Take me Higher', ' ur my desire', n the same stuff again n again. So in tht case Rock on really stands out bcoz its really different n unconventional.
Now i dunno how many of u'll saw Lakshya...(*ing, hrithik roshan made by Farhan Akhtar)... nd if u'll try 2 remember d scene at the end where Hrithik nd his men climb the rocky cliff... while dey were climbing der is a brilliant background score goin on. Well it seems Farhan nd d Director liked the music so much that dey used it in the Title track of d movie. And it sounds GREAT!!!
All the songs in it r well written n composed... from 'socha hai', to 'sinbad the sailor' even d ones who dont follow rock can relate to it. And if someone was missing a slow trcak... its got the brilliant 'tum ho to' n 'yeh tumhari meri baatein' .
And the makers wanted a different voice it seems, so they get Farhan Akhtar to sing the songs.
Check it out guys... its certainly worth the price u pay.
Enjoy!!!

Jodha Akbar : my view
The movie starring Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan nd directed By Ashutosh Gowariker is a masterpiece that leaves you fascinated nd wanting 4 more; nd very few movies come up with that effect. But it wasn't surprising b'coz it comes from a man who gave us Lagaan. The expectation were already high nd he has raised te bar even more.
Looking back at the content (not writing te ntire story) the storyline revolves around how the kingdoms of Amer, Rajputana nd others who used to live in peace and how the Mughal Kingdom was proving to be a threat to all of dem nd how in such circumstances a political alliance in the form of marriage takes place between Jallaludin (Mughal emperoe) and Jodha, the princess of Amer. It also speak about the coming together of two different religon i.e hinduism nd islam which finds its resistance even in the 21st century, way back in the 16th century. And the amalgamation of a hindu women nd her religious values with that of islam. It induces a feeling of pride in our rich heritage, nd a sense of desire to know more about that period.
The director shows his class with every frame nd scene in the movie, the movie is more tha 3 hours long but not a single scene seems unwanted, its the first time in bollywood that a war scene has been so spectaculary shot nd with such precision, nd the scene where Jallaluidin takes on the wild elephant is one of its kind & truly magical nd to top it all, the music is divine, khwaja mere khwaja takes you back to the Mughal era but also has a contemporary feel to it, hats off to A.R Rahman. (but its xpected frm him, he never fails to deliver).
Moreover JA talks about the person who has made it, his vision to make a movie in a genre which has been looked down upon by the indian audience (talking about period films like Mangal Pandey, Gandhi-my father.. which failed to click just because it was touted 2 be "slow"), his guts to make a epic on one of the most controversial topic in indian history, nd that too so convincingly and so meticulously. TAKE A BOW, ASHUTOSH GOWARIKER.
nd just 4 te record der can b no comparisons with Mughal-e-azam, as it shows Akbar whwn he was old but in Jodha Akbar, he is shown in his youth.
